Since the GS1000 is in running condition, I decided to give it a good spin and check out the fuel consumption this evening.
The old faithuful needed approx 7 litres per 100 km, giving a range of approx 280 km per tankful of petrol.
The above at an average speed of 116 km/hr, and at the cost of white fingers...
Makes me think about how it will be when the Yanmar is in place. Wibrations are not necessarily lower compared to the inline4 Suzuki...
